ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Author’s Credentials: In l990, Mrs. Tyner earned an M.A. degree in Christian Apologetics from Simon Greenleaf University, an evangelical Christian graduate school (acquired by Trinity International University). She also holds a bachelor’s degree in English from CSU Fullerton, and a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Calvary Chapel Bible College. She has been a leader in women's ministries at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa for six years, a speaker with Stonecroft Ministries International 12 years, and has written apologetics curriculum and marriage articles. She continues to take apologetics courses at Biola University. And she loves to teach Bible studies and equip/encourage others to share and defend the faith–leading beloved unbelievers to (or closer to) the cross.

Author’s Personal Testimony:  During a time of identity crisis in 1981, Mrs. Tyner joined a Bible study and began searching for God and for meaning in life. She had honest intellectual questions, such as: "Is Christianity the one true world religion?" and "Is the Bible really the Word of God?"

As she examined evidence and received answers, the Holy Spirit opened her eyes and she came face to face with the Lord she was studying about in the Scriptures. In 1982, she gave her heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is now her fervent desire for others to come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, and to receive forgiveness and the free gift of eternal life! (See John 3:16 and 14:6.)
